An interactive storytelling method that teaches Greek or any other language through mythology, role-play, and visual exercises, connecting language with the traits of the gods, or alternatively with famous persons, actors, scientists, and other personalities.
- Group size limits: This activity is designed for adults and it can be adapted to different mythologies or famous persons. The group size may vary from 4 to 16 participants
- Time required: 2 hours, indoor or outdoor
- Materials and tools needed: Flashcards with images, names, and Greek spelling of gods and goddesses; printable worksheets with fill-in-the-blank and matching exercises using simple Greek sentences; a PowerPoint presentation with visuals; Greek pronunciation guides and audio clips.

Learn & Gain:
- Learn basic Greek words and phrases related to mythology (e.g., θεός = god, θεά = goddess, δύναμη = power).
- Describe each deity’s powers and attributes using simple Greek sentences.
- Introduce themselves in Greek by choosing a god/goddess and saying, “I am [Zeus/Athena, etc.]” in Greek, and respond to basic questions using learned vocabulary (e.g., “Who is the god of the sea?” → “Ποιος είναι ο θεός της θάλασσας;”).
- Engage in cultural exchange by comparing Greek mythology with myths, heroes, and deities from other cultures, fostering intercultural awareness and appreciation.
